From Kristin Brandt: For those of you who might be interested in Girl Scouts for your daughter(s), there is going to be a parents informational/registration meeting next Wed. the 16th from 6:30 to 7:30 at the DCC. If you have any interest at all, come and ask all your questions. Girl scouts is a great program! No uniforms are required, cookie selling is optional (although you can ask Karin about the year that she sold enough cookies for a trip to Disneyland), and it's very low cost because it's volunteer run. Girls of all ages beginning with Kindergartners can join. AND, Karin Brooks and I are willing to serve as leaders in our neighborhood. We are so excited to get this going in our neighborhood! It would help me if anyone interested would also email me at jeffandkrisbrandt@hotmail.com so that I can tell the Girl Scout rep. how much interest we have in our part of the neighborhood. Thanks!
